As I get closer to leaving this place I get more peaceful. Not only is it a better place but almost a symbol of a new life. I am no longer depressed and with all the medications that did not help that thought of leaving does. I have no regrets and I have memories so I can be thankful for that but the poison is no longer pumping in my veins. I am ready and happy. It is only a little while away and I can close this chapter of my life.
